Zentrix Lab
Zentrix Lab (Research & Innovation) is an SME founded by Ex Ericsson employees in two countries with offices in Belgrade, Pancevo, and Tallinn. Company has two core departments: (i) Research & Innovation Zentrix Lab is a fast growing branch dedicated to research and application of DLT, IoT and Ai in different fields; (ii) Zentrix.io is web3 development and consultancy one-stop-shop with hands on experience in industrial application of Blockchain technology, MVPs, and prototypes.
The company mission is to position on the market as cybersecurity service and solution provider for different markets. We integrate latest technological trends and research results, into own solutions design, using DLT (distributed ledger technology), IoT (Internet of Things), and Machine Learning. Company has a history of working in a research collaborative projects as Technical managers and leader of the Work packages.
Role in the SPATRA Project
Zentrix Lab is involved in the SPATRA project with both its Estonian and Serbian departments. In the project, Zentrix is leading work on Requirements and Specifications, defining project requirements and developing detailed use-case specifications, architecture, and API-interoperable interfaces. Zentrix is also responsible for the development of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Truck Detection machine learning algorithm to detect and track trucks in satellite images, and In-Truck EGNSS Trackers, which focuses on developing a system for in-truck EGNSS trackers to improve the accuracy of vehicle tracking and fleet management.
Zentrix will develop a Transport Management System (TMS) to create an end-user system for logistics, streamlining and improving fleet management with enhanced accuracy on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) based on border congestion.
Zentrix also leads Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation, focusing on sharing project updates, developing the exploitation plan and business model, and increasing the adoption of EU satellite-based solutions. Additionally, Zentrix Lab leads Innovation Management for the project, concentrating on creating business value and promoting innovation to ensure novel solutions and continuous improvement through sustainable practices.
